About Us

Ella by Janitza is founded by Janitza Calderon.  Janitza has dreamed since she was little of having her own company where she could help women around the world.  During the pandemic, when everything shut down, she began to study about how to formulate. 

The reason was that she had begun to take care of her skin, since she had noticed certain changes in it that she did not like, such as excessive pimples on her face, dark marks on her legs, stretch marks,  etc.  For this reason she had already started using different products.  But Janitza is a faithful believer that everything our body and skin needs is found in our land. 

For this reason she began to see how she could create her own products for her personal use.  Her first product from scratch was the coffee scrub and after seeing the results, she was wow!  She then knew that she should follow that line. 

She continued studying and formulating and this is how Ella’s was born. Her heart behind all of this was helping women feel confident in the way they look and feel.  She thinks that if we can feel confident, we will feel empowered. Ella means She in Spanish which is her first language.
